Hello, my name is Mrs. Root, and I am a fourth grade teacher at Rodburn Elementary School. I find joy in learning, teaching, reading, and spending time with my family. I lived in a variety of places before arriving in Morehead four years ago - North Carolina, Colorado, California, and Illinois. I received my Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Masters in Education from Pepperdine University. I have experience teaching preschool, third, and fourth grade. I absolutely love teaching 4th grade and enjoy inspiring children to learn and strive for their goals!
