Hello! I am Crystal Waugh.  I graduated with a degree in  Elementary Education from Morehead State University in the spring of 2012. I was hired at Rodburn Elementary School as a Title 1/RTI instructional aide in 2012. I worked as an aide for 3 years before getting hired as a teacher. I worked as a 3rd grade teacher for 3 years. This is my fifth year in 1st grade. I am so excited to be teaching first graders. Teaching is something that I am very passionate about and I am very excited to get this opportunity to teach the students at Rodburn Elementary. I completed my Master's Degree in Literacy Specialist at the University of the Cumberlands in August 2019.

I have been married for 14 years to my wonderful husband, Wesley. We have one son, Brayden, who is in the sixth grade. We have three cats, Fester, Fiona, and Baboo, plus a dog, Remington. We live in Carter County. 

I enjoy reading, bird watching, and hanging out with family. We also enjoy being outdoors and we love visiting Cave Run lake and Carter Caves State Park.

I am super excited to be teaching 1st Grade this year.
