Hello!  My name is Melissa Haddix and I am a third-grade teacher at Rodburn Elementary School.  I began teaching school in 1992.  After my sons were born, I stayed home with them for 6 years.  My husband and I are originally from Jackson, KY.  I have two adult sons Trey Ewers and Hayden Ewers who also live in Rowan County and are RCSHS graduates.    I have a stepson and 2 stepdaughters Brandon, Adrienne, and Christa live in Richmond, KY.  We have 4 grandchildren, a very special great-nephew (the Boss Man), and a new grandson arriving in February of 2022.   I love spending time with my family, lake days, and my puppy girls, Lila Mae and Millie Jade.

Teaching is my passion and always has been, it is my prayer that I can make a difference in some way through my work.
